Meet Justin Leitzen, our Chief Executive Officer at Unified Health Plan / ProviDRs Care. Justin’s journey with us began in July 2013, and after a brief hiatus, he rejoined the team in April 2017, bringing with him a wealth of experience and vision. As the CEO, Justin plays a pivotal role in steering the company’s direction, overseeing strategic planning, and ensuring stellar financial performance.
Under Justin’s leadership over the last four years, the company has seen a significant shift towards value-based transformation, a testament to his more than 17 years of expertise in the healthcare industry. His expertise encompasses overarching company strategy, financial oversight including profit and loss management, and the strategic development of comprehensive healthcare programs. His leadership ensures the company’s adherence to high operational efficiency and financial performance standards.
Justin’s academic achievements complement his professional accomplishments, showcasing a well-rounded expertise in his field. He is an alumnus of Kaplan University, where he honed his skills and knowledge, earning a Master’s in Health Care Administration. With his blend of academic excellence and industry expertise, Justin continues to be a driving force behind Unified Health Plan / ProviDRs Care’s success and innovation.
Nate Ogden, Vice President of Health Plan Operations
Meet Nate Ogden, the Vice President of Health Plan Operations at Unified Health Plan. Nate grew up in the TPA industry. With over 30 years of experience in self-funding, Nate has owned, started, and sold multiple third-party administrators and medical stop-loss captives. He has managed carrier relationships for 20+ years including production, loss ratio, and claims issues.
Analytical and service-oriented, Nate is a collaborative problem solver who develops plans and strategies that meet the needs of the organization. In the Operations role at Unified Health Plan, Nate collaborates with key stakeholders to improve customer support, customer experience, and overall customer satisfaction.
Michael Masters, Chief Growth Officer
Mike Masters joined Unified Health Plan / ProviDRs Care Network in May 2024, as Chief Growth Officer. With 40+ years of experience in the health insurance industry, he has focused the last 30 years on program and product development for insurers, reinsurers, government entities, and commercial employer groups. His addition as Chief Growth Officer provides the company with extensive experience, relationships, and creativity to move into the coming years. The goal as CGO, will be to expand an already quality network and health plan in becoming distinctively superior to the competition.
Michael Moore, Vice President of Provider Network Operations
With over two decades of experience in healthcare operations, Mike currently serves as the Vice President of Provider Network Operations at Unified Health Plan / ProviDRs Care. In this role, he leads strategic initiatives to enhance provider relations and optimize network operations. Prior to joining Unified Health Plan / ProviDRs Care, Mike held significant positions at U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. as a Strategic Negotiator, and at Via Christi Health as the Director of Managed Care and Payer Relations. His extensive background also includes strategic roles at Vizient, Inc., where he focused on reimbursement strategies, and at Preferred Health Systems, where he managed network operations.
Throughout his career, Mike has demonstrated expertise in fostering strong relationships with healthcare providers, negotiating contracts, and developing effective reimbursement policies. He is dedicated to driving improvements in healthcare delivery and enhancing operational efficiency. Mike is passionate about advancing the healthcare industry through innovative solutions and collaborative partnerships.
Robert Foley, Director, EDI and Integration
Robert Foley is a seasoned EDI and data integration leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare technology, enterprise data management, and process optimization. Skilled in SQL Server, Oracle, C#, and HIPAA EDI standards, he excels at transforming complex data challenges into streamlined solutions.
Known as a “fixer” and a change agent, Robert has a strong track record of enhancing efficiency, leading diverse teams, and driving operational improvements. He holds a Master’s in Managerial Economics and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, bringing both technical expertise and strategic insight to every project.
Theresa Edwards, Population Health Manager, Case Manager
With over 28 years of healthcare experience, Theresa Edwards currently serves as a Population Health Manager, Case Manager, and Care Navigator with Unified Health Plan / ProviDRs Care, where she is dedicated to advancing patient outcomes and optimizing healthcare delivery. Her career has included key leadership roles such as Chief Nursing Officer, Hospital Risk Manager, and Quality Manager. She has managed teams and led operations across specialized areas, including infection prevention, employee health, utilization review, and discharge planning. Her experience also extends to roles as a home health nurse, manager of both an occupational health clinic and a minor emergency center, and charge nurse on a cardiac telemetry unit.
Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and brings significant expertise in quality improvement, patient safety, financial management, regulatory compliance, and staff development. Known for a results-driven approach, she prioritizes collaboration, innovation, integrity, and adaptability, always maintaining a positive and solution-focused mindset in every aspect of her work.
